So my boss asked me today if I could drive her to the car dealership to have her car fixed. She rear ended somebody last week and her tail lights were cracked.
I followed her and her son there so I would be able to drive them back home.
As we are going around a curve, I wasn't expecting the traffic to be so backed up. I ended up slamming into her car.
I think I literally (ok mentally) crapped my pants and barfed at the same time. I wanted to cry of embarrassment. I'd never been in an accident before and of all the cars I hit, it has to be hers.
Luckily, her car was fine and it's not like she would've noticed anything was wrong with it since the back was scratched already. My car got a few scratches but nothing major.
I figured she would never want me to drive her son anywhere again (I'm his babysitter). She acted like it was no big deal and even left his car seat in my car so we could go places tomorrow.
I still feel sick to my stomach about
and like the biggest idiot on earth. Nobody was hurt thankfully so that's what I keep telling myself haha

so either I'm confused or your noggin took a shookin ...........
if she rear ended another car, the FRONT of her car, where the HEAD lights, not the TAIL lights would have been damaged - or .... she rear ended the car while she was backing up ???
whatever, good that pants were only mentally soiled and no blood was spilt -

well it's probably a good sign that you're not an expert at car accident terms ;-)

Don't worry, I had an "accident" today, that sent me to bed for the rest of the day. It happens to everyone. You're doing fine, and you're not "an idiot".. our bodies are like machines, if they screw up randomly, it's not our fault.

Well, if you're going to crash into your boss, you chose a good time. Its not like she can really say anything, being that the reason you were behind her at all was to drive her home because she crashed into someone just a week ago! Hilarious though, glad your car isn't hurt, and glad your only mentally crapped your pants! That would have been the cherry on top ;)

I crashed my almost new car and I had to let it go... don't feel bad. Be glad nothing major happened to your car and your boss was cool
