How have you actually been doing? Not too long ago you posted you were doing pretty well with the apple cider/vinegar thing.

Hi garylousville, Im still doing relatively well. Im not watching what Im eating as much as I should be, but still almost zero symptoms, just a bit of bleeding when I do my "once a day" bm.

The reason I sarted this post basically was to vent it out.. I just had an appt with a specialist who "specializes" in this condition and according to my colonoscopy results from December, she is not 100%, but is worried it may actually be crohns. What showed during my colonscopy is that I have a patchy area, so she would like to schedule for another scope (ech….) sooner than originally planned for (was going to be next year).

Overall, am doing ok though, Im just thankful that my condition appears to be pretty mild compared to others Ive read, so Im hoping and praying that this will basically be how it will go for me, if not better, as long as I continue doing what I am doing (and watching what I eat better than I have been lately..).

Ehh. I don't like that language, "worried" it may be Crohn's. The fact is that mild any kind of IBD is better than moderate or severe any kind of IBD. Many here on this board have been happily in the "indeterminate" camp for years. Crohn's colitis is treated virtually the same as ulcerative colitis. If I were you I wouldn't give it much thought.

Thanks Liz. I try not to get too down on myself about this condition, but every so often, during a moment of weakness, I "feel sorry for myself". I agree anything mild is better than moderate or severe. I am definitely thankful for that as mine has been pretty mild over the last 5-ish years since my initial diagnosis.

I like this site as it helps us all to "vent it out" once in awhile, and what makes it better is that we all know (or have an idea as the severity of each of our UC/UP is different) what we're going through :)

I have bee in the "indeterminate" camp for about 3 years now. Diagnosed Crohns originally, then they came back and said it was Ulcerative Colitis and then about 3 years ago they now call it....indeterminate colitis.

Like Liz said, I wouldnt worry to much about it because its treated pretty much the same no matter what you have. :)
