I'm curious about L-glutamine.

Who has taken it, side effects, how long it takes to work, too much too little, etc......?

Major help for me.. I started with capsules, but not enough.. you need about 4-5g x 3 times a day. Now I take the body-building type powder L_Glutamine. Probably most effective supplement for me. Doesn't induce complete remission, but cuts down my trips to a couple a day instead of 10+

I took it for a year or more when pursuing alternative treatments. It and turmeric root helped me out quite a bit. Taking the L-glutamine on an empty stomach mixed in water is what I did. It helps to form up stools if you're having D... and is good for the colon.
