GI needed in DC

I live about an hour South of DC. I use Associates in Gastroenterology. The have Offices in Woodbridge (which is maybe a half hour 40 mins from DC), Manassas and Stafford. I have seen Dr Huang and Dr. Arham. Both are very good. Great practice. Can get you in pretty quick too, at least they did for my son when he was having issues. The Woodbridge office actually has a Endoscopy Center attached so that scopes can be done there. In and out really quick.

As far as conventional practitioners go, I recommend capital digestive care. I think they accept most insurances.

Try your darndest to get D-r.Kriesburg if you can. He's young, knowledgeable and up to date on the medical literature. He's also pretty well versed on unconventional therapies like LDN and fecal transplantations and won't hesitate to make those suggestions to you.

For integrative practitioners, I recommend Robynne Chutkan @ The Digestive Center for Women. You'll have to shell out cash, but I think she's one of the best GIs in the world (along w/ Dr.Thomas Borody). She has a pretty darn good understanding of the role that hormones play in gastrointestinal disorders in women.

Allen Ginsberg, with GW Faculty Associates. He was my first GI, knows his stuff, does drug studies too. Doesnt deal with the emotional stuff too well, tho. Hopefully he hasnt retired.

I went to GW law. Started Accutane in my 1st year, diagnosed with UC in my 3rd year.

My classmate is general counsel of Microsoft, doing pretty well! Got lucky, really...
I have had a less traditional career, good money but not big money. There are very few jobs for new lawyers. Firms used to hire some every year, but many do not and/or pay new associates less than they used to because they can. So, it just depends on why she wants a law degree and what she plans to do with it. Is it worth the moolah? Maybe not, sorry. Maybe that internship will get her a good job without it.
