also it seems that sodium is also stored in the skin and muscle and other tissue
and not under complete control by the kidneys, but immune cells.
Might even bring up a question for crohns, since in crohns there is defective macrophage killing.
What if you went on a real high salt diet, which might enhance macrophage killing.
The in between salt intake for most americans might not be good.
High or low perhaps, depending on the condition, but not in between.
