The problem with UC is not only do you have to contend with the whole messiness of pooping but you have to learn about good foods and bad foods....for you, and its a pain, but once you find out what works for you it gets easier, try keeping a food diary for a month, I did that and it helped, now I kinda know what works for me, and I tend to stick with it. I have oatmeal every morning, no probs there, home made soup for lunch usually chicken,and I put rice in with it, I eat a lot more fish, and I only eat chicken, lots of bananas, no bread, only soy milk, and many other things that work for me, were all different so it takes a bit of time to figure it all out..Oh! and no alcohol, nearly forgot that one!
Eating out is risky IMHO cos you just don't know whats really in the food, but of course every now and again I will eat out but only someplace I am confident about.
