I know this is a weird, probably obvious question for some folks...
But I'm really having problems eliminating foods. It seems like no matter what I eat, I have the same symptoms (with the exception of extremely greasy food, whole wheat and raw, fibrous fruits and veg). It's really annoying because I am on SCD and now since starting the intro diet again, I have also eliminated dairy products this time around. I'm not having very many symptoms (only 2-3 mostly formed BMs in the morning with urgency and a little blood but I'm attributing this to prednisone) and I have completely no pain. But these symptoms are the exact same ones I had before I started SCD... nearly exact same ones when I went on a gluten free diet the first time around (actually, my symptoms became a little worse on gluten free).
I did keep a food journal with accompanying symptoms for 2-3 months but stopped because literally it seems like no matter what I ate, I had the same symptoms. Has anyone else found this?! I seem to have trouble believing this because so many people always seem to do better with gluten free and dairy free diets.
Want to clarify, that so far I do love the SCD diet because physically and mentally I feel healthier. It feels so good to not eat refined sugars and processed foods. But my mind is just getting so confused about
what to do because my symptoms really don't seem to change with what I eat and I am having such troubles keeping on weight.
