Pro Bodybuilder out there that had colon removed and warns against the lifestyle.
I just hit a personal best, since my L-5 is broken I have always been warned not to squat heavy and not to deadlift at all. Just did 315 down to low box 8 times, darn good squats for me, then hit my hip-n-leg sled with 800 on it. Been sprinting and biking lightly. Anemia vanquished working on iron stores now.
I am mixing real food with some NATURAL oats-n-why by ON.
BB and UC work together, more spinach less junk food.
Spinach to replenish iron stores ( RBC up but FERRITIN still low ). Helps UC too.
My body does not like all that pre-digested garbage, my body likes 'slow' food it has to work on. But after this workout that will be the first thing I eat.

This remission is going so well I am even able to consume the old workout drink that used to turn me into a firehouse, all that arginine instead of l-arginine-ethyl-ester would do me in, now I can tolerate it and enhance my workout.
Salmon, chicken fajita from Whole Foods meat dept, steak or 95% lean grass fed beef, barilla pasta and as much veggies as I want. Butter olive oil fine. I avoid dairy, chocolate and wheat but not sugar ( limited )
