Am I Flaring?

I was diagnosed with UC since Nov 2013 bottom 6 cm of the rectum.
Since then I was never the same. I had prednisone and pentasa tablets at the time, felt good for 5 months, then blood and mucus came back. that was tempered with high dosage of ASACOL 4.8 g tablet oral and suppositories or enemas.
However, now, I still have like 5 enemas out of the 14 that the Dr. prescribed me to use, but my stool is very bad. I wake up in the mrng with a cramp and diareha type stool. very watery. and then I have another bowel movement during the day also liquidy. I don't see any blood on the paper, only a little in the stool.

AM I in a flare? or will this be my normal stool quality from now on? As I am new to the disease, I am not sure what to expect and I don't know what is normal and what is not. What will make my stool normal again? Solid type stool. Please help. thank you

It sounds like things are mildly flaring. If you were in remission, you probably wouldn't have liquid poop or cramping and you wouldn't see blood unless you had a hemorrhoid or fissure but neither of those would cause your other issues so it's probably inflammation. Have you had a scope recently?

I say if you have to ask the question then the answer is yes, you're flaring. If you're not normal then you're in a flare.

It sounds as though you are in a very mild flare. You will get there it just takes time, be patient, that is one thing we all need to be. Although this is sometimes easier said then done.

Thanks quincy! Today i only went twice. The second time i saw the white mucus stuff :((( indicating smthn is still wrong.
Its like if its nt smthn its the other !! How the hell am i gna make everythn normal. I stopped all vegetables nd nthn is happening!! Only blood disappeared or very little :(
