No, I wasn't taking it personally. I don't believe in idolizing people. I just wanted people to see that there is acceptance and a life after diagnosis, and all the crap we deal with.
I just don't want people automatically think, 'Well she's skinny, a model, etc. What's your point?' My point was for people to see we can live with this disease. It's a pain. It's scary. It's dangerous. But darn, look at where she is.
I just don't see why people have to be so negative/depressive about
this. (And no, I'm not making fun of depression. I've had it. Suffered through it for over a year, and had to be on some powerful meds. And I also understand what you're saying) But darn, let people post this to inspire others. If not, just don't comment. Completely messes up the meaning behind this message.
