Feeling sick all the time

Sounds like the asacol alone isn't doing enough right now. If I were you, I'd talk to my doctor. 4 tabs of asacol per day is not a lot. Maybe you need more; maybe you need something else.

I tend to let the symptoms go on and get worse because I keep hoping it will get better. Better to get to the doctor and do something about it sooner rather than later.

It's pretty common to feel bad in the morning. By the end of the day, you've forgotten about it!

Hey Cindershadow, sorry to hear about that :(. Your doctor may discuss other medication options with you. Could you describe your symptoms more - I'm assuming when you mean "sick", you are referring to bowel-related symptoms of cramping, diarrhea, and/or blood, etc.? You mentioned that it starts at around 5 am - so weird, but that was how I was when I was in an uncontrolled flare! The worst was always in the morning for me then too. I hope you're able to see the doctor soon and take it easy if possible.

Are you talking about 400mg pills or 800mg pills? In the US you can only get 800mg pills but in other countries you can still get 400mg. It would be easier to advise you if we knew which ones you were taking.

When i sleep in i am fine for the most part, but if i wake up normal work time it is there. I am not running to the bathroom, and i am having normal movements. The asacol is 800mg tabs. When i was diagnosed they said it was a mild case, but it had been there a long time. I remember going to the doctor 14 years ago for issues arising and them turning me away saying it was nothing. My commute to work is 50-60mins, but worst case i can pull over somewhere for a bathroom use. I give myself extra time if the need ever arrises.
