I'm of predisinole and it thins bones my doc said my cartlige is rubbing against my knee cap do you know how to help or has anyone else experienced this thing

Sounds like runner's knee. This kind of pain is usually helped by strengthening the muscles around the knee. Look up "runner's knee" and try those exercises. And get off prednisone.
