I've been out of the loop for months...what's going on with her? was so hoping to log in and see good things happening for her....She is so nice.... sad

She hasn't gotten remission from any meds and she's been through a ton with Ina short time with pain, constant trips, accidents, hospital stays... Her uc isn't budging unfortunately. Some management of symptoms but not enough that she can keep going like this long term. She's having surgery tomorrow. She's has a great, very experienced surgeon and support from her husband. :)

Ugg...I hate hearing that it has been so bad for her...but I hope this goes well for then and gets her back to feeling human and living life.

wifeofmars! hello dear! so glad you popped in!!

I am currently on toilet with 3 glasses of GoLytely in me... but nothing coming out yet O.0

I will have an update posted tomorrow once I am out of OR and into recovery.
I actually have my list of people my husband needs to text/call written out.. and the first group of texts is to my main 4 UC girls! lol! then family :P

I'm sure I'll be on the internet by Tuesday night or Wednesday. So I'll try to post :)
Atleast something small from my phone.

There's really nothing to envy about having major surgery. I would much rather have avoided it. If surgery was really a picnic in the park, everyone would be having it done.

@Embers - Good luck for tomorrow. Despite what I said to gary, I think you're doing the right thing.

I heard she's doing okay and in recovery. I am sure we will hear more when she's up and about but it may take a couple days.
