A lot of us suffer from deficiencies in vitamin D. I used to but supplements have brought it back into the normal range. Unfortunately, that hasn't helped my UC.

Zinc is another deficiency that I notice they blood tested me for when my bleeding started.
Apparently that shortage can affect tissue healing. Vitamin C, too.
