This is a very interesting post. I used to lift a lot of weights before my current flare and used to take l-Glutamine and creatine mixed with a Whey shake after training with out any trouble. I was unaware of its healing properties to the colon.
I used to weigh about 118kg but due to my current flare have gone down to 104kg but am now on the mend and hope to start training again soon.
Would it be fare to say that amino acids in general would be good for the Colon? As I have some branch chain amino acids which contain Leucine, Valine, Isolecine, Vitamin b6.??
Not sure about
all amino acids, but I know threonine and cysteine are good at inducing mucin production which is really good for us UCers
