Asacol, insurance, another med???

My insurance company might be stopping payment on my asacol, (its 595.00 a month) I've been if full remission for 3 years now after being hospitalized with a severe flair that nearly took me out... and the thought of changing the ecosystem in my colin scares the crap out of me, no pun intended, well maybe it was intended...Anyway, Dose any have any alternative meds that worked for them because of having to give up the Asacol??? I cant take sulfur meds...

Proctosigmoiditis, it was extremely sever when I was hospitalized, but its been great ever since I healed form the last flair...Docs have been wanting me to try and get off the Acocol to see if I can do without the meds, but Im holding onto the the idea, dont change it, if its its workijng...
