Fistula surgery tomorrow one question

I don't know anything about fistula surgery but I hope you have great luck tomorrow :)

I sure wish my memory would perform better but I don't recall his recommendations. I am certain I didn't take any Metamucil before or after the surgery since I just don't use it. I do consume psyllium seed powder every day but I can't recall if I stopped before the surgery. I suspect that I did. I also stop it before colonoscopies as well.

Im back home and in a ton of pain!! I will keep u posted, thanks for the well wishes!

I'm still alive and kick'in! 3 weeks post op tomorrow and doing a lot better! The metamucil is helping a ton for me in the morning, no running back and forth for 2 hours,just a couple times and I'm done! I'm on 4 lialda and I take those at night and nothing else at this time since I can't stick anything up my but my incision site, it it right at my butt door, a quarter size around and about 1/2 deep!! It's so gross looking! Just giving you a update! :)

Oh a game changer.....digestive enzymes!! My doctor says it's not so much as to what you eat (we know that's important) but how you digest it. I take on at every meal and what a difference it makes! :)
