All you say is so sadly true!
Today when I saw my GI,I went in,armed with my paper of questions and options.
Basically I came up with some solutions myself when I saw him.
No point in starting Humeris or anything that takes a long time, trial and error, while I'm 3000 miles away from home for a month!
I suggested we discuss new drugs when I return, he agreed
I asked him for the best band-aid drug to bring as PLAN B
ANSWER:Prednisone.
I asked has any patients double upped on UCERIS.
2 -9 mg UCERIS daily?
he said I would be the first, but I could try before I go to plan B.
I asked for the Bentyl for cramps. He gave the prescription.
I asked for samples of Apriso, ,Uceris check!
I asked for more mesalamine enemas prescriptions, check, he gave it to me.
I asked was any patient taking medical marijuana?
Answer, he doesn't know of anyone with UC who is, just patients with upper respitory issues.
I hope you are still going on your trip adventureuc!
I'g going with enough drugs for an army, and sending them priority mail on Monday.
I'm sure the TSA would have a field day with the bottles of mesalamine!
I beg of you UCERIS, JUST ONE MORE MONTH,
it always seems like my doc can't wait to get rid of me one I am in there!
Well at least I got the samples!
