Anyone getting swollen feet with use of simponi. FNP suggested it is caused from low albumin level associated with UC and poor protein utilization in the colon.  Swollen for 2 days.... and much improved today.

I am waiting for approval for entivyo.....as MD states simponi is not working as well anymore.

This really stinks.  I would not wish UC on my worst enemy.

i get swollen EVERYTHING on simponi.

eyes, hands, knees, chin. i told my gi doc and he said it's "allergies." bull freakin crap is what i say! there are a few others on here who get this swelling as well but i can't remember who.

thanks for the input..... my feet looked like thighs....yesterday and really hurt.  Resorted to support hose but heck it is 101 degrees outside and that makes it worse. 

I am just complaining..... but colonoscope last week, 7 polyps removed and a hand full of biopsies... do not make for a happy person.... esp. after a nasty prep...... and now thighs for feet.  lol... have to laugh to keep from crying.

my face is puffy too but not like my " thigh" feet.  Sure the pred. is not helping either but is less than I had been taking. 15mg per day.

I've had that happen off and on when my protein intake/absorption was to blame. I ate hard boiled eggs and teaspoons of peanut butter when I was having trouble with meat. The swelling goes down relatively quickly for me when I get my protein up.
