Another way to explain this is that.
In the rectum there is the highest mechanical force,the highest bacterial load,stool stasis, increase in luminal toxins, depletion of phosphotydal choline,increase in bacterial protease,probably a decrease in alkaline phosphatase,increase in bacterial protease,overwhelmed antiprotease in the gut, and other reasons of which I cant think of right now.
