Had to think about this for a while - so, yes, a stretch. Thanks for that Embers.
Biggest silver lining is learning how to be grateful - find the good in life, even when feeling very sick. So gaining perspective on what matters most.
And discovering this supportive community, so I don't feel alone every day managing these challenges of UC. I treasure this space where we can be candid about what's going on and offer suggestions based on what we've learned from our experiences (with meds, with food, with doctors, insurance, etc.), whether similar or different. We are all navigating as best we can. Knowing I have fellow travelers here makes me feel stronger.
And in turn I find myself thinking about you guys during the day - Like I wonder how Thoreau is doing with his pains, how Monkey is doing with the entyvio, if Max is feeling any better, how is Katmom's daughter at this point after surgery, and whether NCOT, Gary or Soystud or quincy or Kaz or ipoop or UChater or Old Mike or OldHat or bananagirl or fruitgirl or poppie or arizonahiker or Notsosickly etc will say something informative or insightful or funny, and so on. I kinda carry you guys around with me. Hard to describe it.... Haven't seen HappyDay or Canada Mark in a while, and wonder and hope they are ok. I know people come and go, and we all get busy, but what you say stays with me.
Love this...
