I have used vitamin IV therapy for almost 20 years. Started using it when I would feel like a cold or flu was trying to take hold. Vitamin C IV therapy seemed to knock it right out. The next day I always feel stronger and have more energy.
When I was diagnosed with UC, vitamin C IV therapy was the first alternative treatment I tried, while taking the prescribed medication. I had 2 to 3 IV's per week. During the 2nd week the flare was resolved. Did a 3rd week of IV's for immune support. Stayed on the medication for a few more weeks, mostly out of fear of what might happen if I stopped. Maintained remission with diet, supplementation and a vitamin C IV now and then.
Eventually I became a little relaxed on the diet, started sleeping less, not handling stress very well and another flare started. You would think I learned my lesson, but no. I started back on the medication and it wasn't working. Immediately went back to the vitamin C IV's for about 2 weeks, cleaned up my diet, adjusted my supplements. Once again, the flare resolved. Now I take high doses of vitamin Ester-C daily, and an occasional vitamin C IV for maintenance.
Medication for 30 days costs about $800-$1200 USD. (not as effective for me, with possible side effects)
Vitamin C IV per treatment costs about $100-$140 USD. (seems to work much better for me)
Vitamin C administered intravenously bypasses the digestive system so I have no concern of stomach upset.
