Katmom is talking about
Prometheus labs Anser IFX test. It measures the amount of remicade in your bloodstream, and it is often taken a few days prior to your next remicade infusion. If there are antibodies to remicade within your blood stream, that test will tell you how much. It can help with dosing of remicade, and track it over time when multiple tests are run. Just be careful as many insurances don't cover it. The test is like $1,200.00. If your insurance doesn't cover it, after multiple appeals, Prometheus charges you like $300, I think.
