formed stool but blood on tissue

hii everyone, so i am finally completed my prednisone taper. I was on it for almost 4 months. its been 2 weeks since i have taken a last dose of prednisone. I am having completely formed stool and frequency of my bm is 3-4/day and sometimes around 2 times at night. however from last few days, i am seeing bright red blood on tissue everytime i go. its not like before when i had drops of blood and whole bowl was turning red. its only on tissue when i wipe. i am taking 4 Lialda/day, Canasa suppositories at bedtime, Uceris 9mg every morning(I have been on Uceris for almost 2 and half months now), Vit d 5000iu, and calcium 600mg. does anyone have any recommendation what should i start to stop this bleeding. i am calling my GI doc tomorrow to discuss the plan. but any information from this forum will be appreciated. thank you.

Blood is never a good sign. It means there is enough inflammation remaining to cause bleeding or even ulcers. You have something brewing up there that just isn't good. If you get off of the uceris, I am willing to bet you will return to a uc flareup. Sorry, it is time to move up to stronger uc drugs. Ask about immunosuppressants (Imuran, 6mp or Aza) and start researching them...

Unless you have a history of hemorrhoids or another non-uc explanation for the bleeding.

You can also do rectals twice per day if necessary.
