I don't take DAO or know anything about
it, but I know enough about
supplements in general to say that DAO in Histame might be far superior to the DAO in Swanson's Daosin product.
I have been taking tons of supplements all my life and learned that sometimes what a pill doesn't contain is just as important than what is in the pill. Many people find supplements intolerable because of all of the extra ingredients and crap like Propylene glycol, magnesium stearate, and maltodextrin that is contained in most pills.
Look at their labels and judge for yourself:
Other ingredients in Histame:
cellulose, water.
Histame also contains a small amount of vitamin C and calcium carbonate which is not harmful, some people even supplement to get more of it.
Other ingredients in Swanson's DAOsin:
Daosin beadlets [microcrystalline cellulose (plant fiber), sucrose, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), rice starch, acid-resistant coating, hydroxypropylcellulose, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, hydrated magnesium silicate, corn starch, carboxymethylcell-ulose, glycerol], hypromellose (vegetable capsule).
