Is getting entvyio approved getting any easier?

Is getting entvyio approved getting any easier? I asked my remi infusion nurse and she said the process will get easier jan 1st. As then entvyio will have standard j-code (e.g., remicade is j1745, simponi is j1602). Right now there is not one, so getting it billed correctly and processed through insurance is therefore tougher. How bad has it been for those of you new to entvyio?

I didn't know it was tough but my GI did mention that if I wanted to try it, it would take some time to get approval. My insurance has been quick with everything else so I thought it was weird that she mentioned anything about that.

I actually had no issue in getting Entyvio approved. Simponi was a challenge. However Humara or Enytvio were not.

I had no issue with it getting approved. (I had dose number 2 yesterday.) My GI doc and I agreed on 9/29/14 that Remicade was not going to work for me and we should switch to Entyvio. We kept my scheduled appt for my next Remicade dose on 10/10/14 with the hopes that I'd receive Entyvio that day. In very short order I was informed that it had been approved. (I didn't have to do anything---no calls, etc.)
