I never had any luck with that but I had a severe case. I have a friend that controls his UC with diet and no meds so yes, it's possible. He has mild UC with no bleeding. You won't know unless you try. But you have bleeding so I would be very careful.And I had massively severe Crohn's pancolitis with virtually no blood.
My brother meanwhile had bleeding with his Crohn's and his turned out so much milder than mine did. Think too many people associate bleeding with more severe disease, when that's not always the case #notcranked #okayiamalittlebit
EDIT: Also lol at the doom-mongering cavalry in town: "take your meds
forever or else!!!!!". Guys, UC was a relapsing-remitting disease long before current meds were around and will continue to be a relapsing-remitting disease when we go back to living in the stone age.
