Blood on paper when wiping?

Hi all you lovelies! I don't think I am flaring but having small amount of blood on paper when wiping.Also a burning/ itching anus some days. Think I have hemmies so wonder if blood from these. Been using Anusol but wonder if it's time to use Asacol suppos as well as oral meds? Anyone else get small amount of blood on paper whilst in remission? Advice please xx

Sounds like a bleeding hemmie. What put you into remission and are you still doing it? It's a mistake to quit taking meds while in remission as future flares often get harder to treat and what worked before often won't work again or work as well, causing you to have to take harsher and harsher meds. It's better to take the safer meds forever than to do that. If I only had a dollar for every poster who came here in a panic because they flared again after quitting meds and now they're in a pickle. Don't let that happen to you.
