I take 4 tablespoons a day. If I go below that, I see the difference. Actually, smell the difference. Under 4 TBSP, my gas and poop go back to smelling pretty bad. Not flaring bad, but worse than normal, to an embarrassing degree. On 4 TBSP, the smell is hardly there and completely normal.
I'm guessing that the potato starch feeds the good guys in my gut.
I love knowing that I can poop without making the bathroom awful for the next person. That alone, for me, is enough reason to take potato starch.
I take it in a smoothie or mixed with applesauce and cinnamon.
