good news

So after spending 7 days in the hospital on a solumedrol drip, they began me on remicade.

That was about a month ago, and I'm getting ready in the next few weeks to start my week 6 remicade treatment. I feel like I've almost gone into full remission, no blood at all and 2 movements a day. They have me tapering down on my prednisone, and i'm almost done with those "another 3 weeks".

The best news though, is in light of everything that has been happening in my life something even better is about to happen. My wife found out she is pregnant! Its funny how life works some times, you feel like you've been beat down and stomped on, than things like this happen and it just makes you open your eyes.

I have no idea as of yet.. I'm going to be having my next treatment, and that might be something I can bring up.

Great news! Did you ask the doctor if there are any risks to have a baby when on Remicade? Might be a good idea just to ask and make sure Remicade doesn't affect or hurt the sperm or anything else. I'm not a doctor so I don't know but just good to make sure, you know?
