Woohoo! Thanks for keeping us in the loop. I hate that we are so often behind the times up here, though, free health care, so I'll stop complaining smilewinkgrin

Too bad the drug isint covered.

But I agree, we still dont have Uceris!

I'm sure eventually it will be covered, just as Remicade and Humira...at first they were not covered especially for treating IBD but it's changed since and is now covered. More options for us is always a bonus IMO!

Not sure what province you are in, but drugs are not covered at all in Ontario....

Alberta, covered by Alberta Blue Cross and what they don't cover, Progress gives me for free.

Oh sure, you can get insurance companies to cover it, but Im talking about state funding. That doesnt exist for the general population (though there are a few government programs that can help). Thats what Im referring too. Relying on insurance is the worst part of our health care system

I was just at my GI's office and he never did mention it. Just remicade which I was previously on. I might have to inquire about it myself next visit. I'm in BC.....
