Go to the drugstore and get a saline enema and see if that helps. The inflammation is causing your constipation (most likely) meaning your colon is wounded and just can't do it's job moving things along.
Iron pills also cause constipation.
I see you can't afford Rx meds but have you looked into ordering them from Canada? Since you have U proctitis Canasa (called Salofalk suppositories in Canada) will help you a lot. They are expensive in US but only $77 for 30 in Canada. You need a doctors RX which can be faxed or emailed to the Can. pharmacy. You'll need a written RX from your doc as docs cannot send to Canada by law.
Other things that have helped my UC (which may be UP like yours at this time):
-Eating coconut oil and olive oil as much as possible. They soothe that area and are anti-inflammatory.
-Taking a capsule of Turmeric/Curcumin. Anti-inflammatory too.
-Using Vitamin E suppositories (Amazon, no RX needed). Heals the rectum but not as good as Canasa suppositories.
-Eliminate fiber foods so give your colon a rest and less damage.
-If you ever get on an insurance plan that covers RX immediately get some mesalamine enemas and use them nightly. They are the best RX my colon ever had, best for stopping bleeding.
