I finally got onto medicine my doctor got me samples and a patient coupon card to help pay for Dulcolax and also got me a prescription for some enemas. This should help with all the constipation and discomfort I've been having for the past month. I'm so excited to be able to take medication to help this, it was a really big Struggle without it.

What kind of enemas meslamine-based (rowasa) or steroid? Good luck!

the enemas, especially meslamine, are expensive. if OTC Docolax was a challenge, I am not sure how you will pay for the prescription.

Your presciption is very odd for somebody eith ulcerative proctitis, should be an anti-inflammatory medication like canasa suppository.

I was paying about $70 for a box of 7 generic sterroid, a little more for generic mesalamine, and way over $100 for sfRowasa. - and this was copay. IF you are paying whole cost, even with a discount card, it will be a financial drain.
