UC medications in other countries

Hi, I'd like to know what UC medications are available in other countries? I did a google search for this but nothing really comes up. I'm assuming Lialda isn't available in most countries because of the cost. Also, it seems like UC is mainly a western disease, so perhaps UC medication is not available everywhere in the world?

I'm asking this because I'd like to do some international traveling in the future, especially in Asia. Of course I would pack all my meds with me, but still I'd feel more comfortable knowing I could get UC meds where I was if I needed to.

almost every country should have mesalamines. they often have different names. like Lialda is called MEZAVANT in some countries.

i also suspect 6mp is available because it has been in use so long.

country and cost have almost no relation, except they all cost more in US.

It might be useful to say what country you're from. I assume USA?
In New Zealand we have
Mesalamine: Pentasa and Asacol tablets, there's also a suppository and enema form
Steroids: prednisone tablets, and hydrocortisone enema named colifoam
Immunosuppressors: Azathioprine (same as imuran), 6MP, methotrexate, 6TG and probably some others
Biologics: Infliximab (same as remicade).
Prescriptions in NZ are nominal cost (say $10-$15) or free for some e.g kids

You are not specific about which countries you are traveling, but in India, except antibodies everything else is available, so nothing that you can not buy in the US. There is no Canasa though.

Sorry, I am from the USA.

I guess the reason I asked this is because I'd like to travel in undeveloped countries. I was reading a post somewhere else online about someone in the Philippines who has uc and the only medicines available were salofalk and prednisone. They had to order other drugs from overseas every month.

I'm sure pleases like NZ and Australia would be fine, and India makes all kinds of drugs, but I was thinking countries like the philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, for example.
