Hi everyone. Im seriously considering FT. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any advice. I'm aware some have had it done with good and not so good results. I'm just weighing up my options. Also would you choose a family member as a donor over a stranger. They say not to use anyone who has mental illness. My daughter is 19 and has shown signs of anxiety. I already suffer from anxiety and its throughout my entire family. TIA

Please Please Please do not do it at home and please do it at a medical facility where they can screen the donor's poop to be sure that it does not contain any pathogens or such
there is a list of hospitals and doctors that perform it this
you can ask them about your anxiety concerns and if it outweighs the benefits of having a family member donate

Thanks I will be seeing my GI who is a Dr at the centre for digestive disease in Sydney. He works with Dr Barody.

what form of magnesium helped your anxiety? id be curious to try it as the steriods im on are tend to give me anxiety?

I'm said to myself if my meds stopped working that's what I was going to do. My GI said we'd try enemas and if they didn't make a difference he Would do the FT. I'm scared but I'm scared more of the medication. I havent had the money for FT so when the enema never made any difference I just kept poking along until now. I've making an application to use my super to pay for it under medical circumstances. That going through and my GI willing I think I will go ahead. What it would do for me mentally alone is worth it. I've tried magnesium supplements before but they have me crazy dreams. I might use them earlier and see how I go..

hey you also took accutane? I took a generic Roacctuance. No grounds for a law suit and Drs still dishing it out in Australia

Hi I see my GI Thursdays. I'm sure he will do the procedure. He's told me before if I were to not improve with enema he would do it. The hold up for now is money. I have a apply to cash in my super to get money. It can take up to ten days after my Drs sign the forms.. Sucks have no money

Is it possible that insurance will cover it when you are in the hospital ( I know there are things that are not normally covered by me but in the hospital they were)
