Diet is very individual but it's good that you're making some healthy choices, just know that not all healthy foods will necessarily be agreeable to YOUR system, it's pretty much trial and error.
What I learned from my dietitian is when you're introducing new foods that your system isn't used to, GO SLOW, so with each item you introduce, eat it one day then not the next day then eat it again on the 3rd day, not the 4th day then again on the 5th day of the week then not again for two days so basically one week to reintroduce each new food....
reason being, it'll be harder to tell if it agrees with your system or not if you don't reintroduce slowly and monitor (keep a food journal and note your BM's as well, consistency, frequency etc.) what happens when you add new foods/beverages into your system that it's not used to, is it changes your gut bacteria as well and that's why your system needs at least one week for slow introduction of foods you maybe haven't had in a long time.
I do just fine with oatmeal, but my dietitian had me on the low FODMAP, no fructose diet so she told me to eat "Only Oats" oatmeal it's wheat free (due to her having me on that diet and cutting out a bunch of food groups that I reintroduced back in to see if I had any food intolerance's (my crohn's colitis is in remission but I'm dealing with IBS) I don't have any food intolerance's (thankfully) my IBS is more stress driven than anything, not diet related. So you may want to stay away from the processed flavored oatmeal since it may not be oatmeal itself causing any issues but instead the junky added ingredients in the processed types.
Good luck!
