It is a time to celebrate. Soon I am going to throw out all my meds. I seriously have bags of pills, some still sealed. I will ask my doctor's office if they can take the sealed stuff for patients in need, but back to me, I am going to get rid of all this stuff, and hopefully never have to look at it again. it's going to free up a drawer.

Congrats. I suggest you fill your empty drawer with all the travel pictures, souvenirs and stuff from the new hobbies you'll have, now that you can go out enjoy life without the troubles and worries of uc.

I put the stuff in a bag, it's heavy!
I should make an art piece out of enema bottles. That's how many I have :)

Take a picture of it before it goes... Every time you see it you will feel good.

You should throw them all in a bonfire but then I guess we don't need a nuclear explosion. Enjoy the moment to the fullist.

Congrats... I guess this means you can take a hiatus from HW-UC. I did for 5 years...thinking removing the colon might be a good idea. So weary of Remicade and UC.

I still have 4 boxes of rowasa enemas in my closet! I've never been sure how to dispose of them so there they still sit five years later. Thank the Lord I don't have to take that crap anymore! Congrats!

Wait till after takedown when you get to put all those extra ostomy supplies in a box and donate them back to the hospital! For me that was way more exciting...meant the end of the journey had arrived!
