You're welcome. If laughter is the best medication then perhaps it helped you even just a little

Have also been plagued with the foul smelling gas lately and was wondering if this was related to my ulcerative proctitis starting to flare up again. I've been trying to heal myself with lots of fruit smoothies consisting of various berries, cherries, mango, pineapple, banana, Apple, grapes, coconut water and coconut milk. Just don't want to have to go back on Prednisone again. Last flare started up in August of 2015 and Doctor put me on 40 days of Prednisone starting with 60 mg a day and tapering off to 10. The side effects of the steroids were terrible. I was doing good til about
3 weeks ago when I noticed the symptoms of the UP starting up again. I've been using the Canasa suppositories at night 1,000 mg since I was diagnosed back in 2007. I'm so frustrated with this disease and thank God I'm retired because I can't imagine having to try to go to work every day not knowing when the UP was going to act up or if I'd have to be running to the bathroom all day at work.
Does anyone feel certain foods or drinks tend to trigger flares? I am thinking chocolate and too much refined sugar in my diet can lead to a flare. Wondering too about
too much diet soda.

You're all so very lucky, I am currently in the middle of an extremely fragerent episode relating to my bowels.
The darker the blood the smellier the fart and you all are lucky because if I fart I sh#t myself. So for me to set free the odious vapors from my poop shoot can only happen the lavatory.
I'm so very jealous I want payback for all those around me who complain of the smelly lavatory after I use it. So all I can say is PAYBACKS A ***** lol
