Entivyo (every two weeks)

Never heard of and I imagine it cant be done. Your blood levels would go through the roof since it has a half life if 2-3 weeks.

That seems crazy to me. It's 15k an infusion through my facility. I think surgery is a better option than getting stuff pumped into your blood every other week. Please go on a surgical consult. even if you opt for every 2 weeks, it may not work, then what? It's really not worth it, 30k a month to try to fight a sick colon that's probably on its way out regardless of what you pump into your body. Just my opinion. I didn't even bother with 4 week infusions. Just wanted to be done with steroids forever. I had been off for about 6 months and there was no way I was going back on. Why 2 weeks and not 4? Seems like most go to every 4 weeks. Still seems excessive price and considering you need it forever.

I was chatting with my GI last week during an office visit and he said that they are starting to learn more about biologicals and that in some situations higher doses counteract some of the side-effects/antibodies of the biologicals.

I just started Cimzia last week. Maybe you can get your insurance to approve it if Entyvio isn't currently working for you. It is currently approved for CD.
