There aren't any symptoms I "ignore" but rather some that I evaluate to determine if I think its directly condition related or caused by other factors.
For instance,
the other day I had D pretty bad, frequency was up, and some pain, yet, it was the day after halloween, I knew I had a crap ton of sugar from treats and apple cider beer (which I've quickly learned that ,while delicious, should probably be avoided), and determined it was 90% related to my activity the night before rather than anything from my UC directly.
Bleeding you should always watch for. I am also anemic (funny enough discovered during intake at the hospital), so I also look for signs such as disorientation, being off balance, etc, if I have noticed any symptoms of UC.
Overall you should just try to know your body the best you can
