switching from ASACOL HD

Due to insurance dropping coverage of my ASACOL HD, I may have to switch to one of the following drugs: balsalazide, APRISO, LIALDA or PENTASA.
Wondering which drug you all might suggest. I know ASACOL HD has a low rate of side effects and is even safe for pregnant people to take. So any advice is helpful as I try to figure this all out.

They're all the same medication ultimately once they hit the colon ( colazal starts off differently like sulfazalazine but ends up with 5ASA.....different delivery based on either bacteria or ph in the gut where/when they're first starting to be disbursed.

If you stay at a regular dosage then Lialda could be a first try. Or if you've been stable for a long while then try apriso. I understand it uses less dosage with efficient delivery.

Thanks Quincy, I have been doing well for a long time on ASACOL HD....except for last year....I flared for a few months....I appreciate the advice....I just left a message with my Doctor asking if they would call a number to appeal but not sure what they will say.
