Which of the two enemas do you guys tolerate better? I've found retaining salofalk (mesalazine) a lot harder compared with predfoam (which has reduced tenesmus and blood In less than a week).

I've never had a foam but others do say it is easier to retain but I think the downside is that it won't reach as far up. So depending on how far your inflammation is will depend on which would be better. But if you can't retain the enema that isn't doing anything for you. Maybe use the foam for awhile and then try the other once you have gotten some of the symptoms under control which you are already starting to do.

Hello, the brands that do mesalazine foam enemas are salofalk and asacol. These are in the UK. Not sure about
in other countries.https://www.drfalk.co.uk/index.php/patients/pharmaceutical_products/salofalk__/
