so i ran across this thread looking for something else - just thought i'd answer the question once and for all:

my belief is that we all have IBD - instead of one or two "diseases" under that umbrella, there are many - me myself personally, i have "fricked up digestive system caused by too many rounds of antibiotics" - not UC - does that mean that everyone who attained the glowing affliction of REAL UC didn't take anti's ? maybe - but i think the closer the world gets to redefining whatever we have, the sooner more folks will get healthy again -

oh, and anyone in big ole Texas seen madpotter around ?
