If there were a hemorrhoid or fissure, I would think they would have seen it with the scope (or with their eyes on the outside). If there were inflammation that was extensive enough to cause blood, I would think it would have been visible too. Unless it was a tiny 1cm spot or something along those lines. My first scope ever, I had a 1cm spot that was inflamed in my rectum and it caused bleeding. My GI had to search for it. I am thankful she did because I was bleeding and I wanted to know why. I bet if she did limited biopsies, she may not have gotten that spot and the pathology might have come back normal.
Thanks! Ya I'm just really hoping if there is anything at all it will come back on the biopsy results. If that's my case as well do you think they would just increase the doses of what I'm already taking?
