iPoop, the bms are not the same, normally it is once between two days, some times becomes everyday. The consistency, I am mostly have a kind of constipation.
Bleeding is three times per week before the bowel movements, some times I see blood inside the stool, I am very afraid here!!!
Some foods make my symptoms very bad, red meat, oily foods, nuts, diary products, breads. I am continuing to eat them as I dont have other options.
What type of food are you staying away from?
quote="iPoop"]Kardoxi, what's your normal for your bms (times per day, consistently, any symptoms)? My bms can change a little due to stress and due to what I have ate (become more constipated or go more). We can get stomach flus and food poisoning like anyone else can. It's possible it could be a sign of a flare and it could be nothing. The most concerning is blood. How much blood you seeing (obvious blood on top of water in bowl, a little on tp when wiping)?
The key thing about
a flare is that the symptoms get and stay worse than your normal. It's not a several day blip of worse symptoms that bounce back to normal. If your bms have been consistently bad for 3 days, I'd give it another few days and then call your gastroenterologist and describe your symptoms if they persist for 5-7 days. He/she can run some tests and see what's going on. Just trying to be a little cautious by waiting a little longer to avoid a possible false alarm.
