I'd wait and see if it happens again. I know we're often hyper-tuned into what we see within the bowl after a bm, but this can also lead to false alarms. Darker reds are from either food residue or something bleeding higher up in the large intestine. Hemorrhoids only produce bright, bright red (as they're inches from the sphincter so that blood is very fresh).
Any signs of increased mucus, or looser, increased , or more urgent bms? It's often the most accurate to say several things have changed for the worse and not just one.

waiting and seeing because a few bad BMs isn't much to worry bout. I will wait until the appointment on Monday to say anything.
I am pretty sure it's blood not food because on the tissue it was red also
There is some mucous but I have had that pretty consistently for a while so not too concerned bout that.
Some of my stools have been loose and some are formed
