Entyvio horrific side effects

I have UC since 93. I've had 4 Entyvio infusions and I just started to have asthma, thrush in the throat, unbearable sore throat and pink eye all within the last 2 weeks.
Is there anyone out there who has the same side effects? And does anyone know how long it takes for the drug to leave my system?
First 3 infusions were ok just muscle cramps and headaches for a week or so but these new symptoms are so painful. The infusion itself is very easy and no fuss.
I take daily Liald, Rowasa and Cansa during flare ups.
Please anyone with these symptoms or if you know of them respond.

Hey there! Sorry to hear this, I'm on entyvio as well but haven't had these side effects. Have you seen your primary care or gi regarding these? Could be an infection or something else unrelated. Also to help you out there is a Facebook group called "entyvio Warriors" with all members being on entyvio or a care giver for someone who is, I would check it out as well, the people are extremely helpful in there ( some have been on for years since they started during the clinical trial phase)

Hi AbigailRose. Thank you for your response. I've been to my PCP and in touch with the GI and no answers there! They act puzzled and useless. I just realized that it may be prednisone withdrawal I was on for over a year?? I tapered off down to 1/4 mg for weeks:(
I don't want to give up on Entivio cause the UC is better so I'll keep searching.

I haven't experienced anything like that either. As you say, Pred withdrawal could also be a culprit here plus an infection. The day after I was due to start a biologic I came down with a terrible cold. Had I started the day I should have, I would have blamed all that on side effects rather than just being a coincidence, so it is really hard to tell unless it happens again at the next dose I'd have thought.
