Thanks for checking in!! I am still here and super pregnant! Lol. As of now, the csection is still on for May 9th. Part of me wonders if things will happen earlier though!

I am continuing to take prednisone (which takes prego exhaustion to a whole new level!). I'm also still planning on my first Remicade dose on May 20th...about 10 days post baby day .

That's awesome that you have one week left. Regardless if you go into labor now your baby should be ok becuse you are very advanced in your pregnancy and are pretty much full term

some things I would pack for the hospital stay is
Slippers, sweats, eye mask, moisturizer and Chapstick, long charger for phone, and if you want cute baby outfits or receiving blankets

Thanks for checking in, notsosickly! So, baby decided to arrive a few days earlier than the scheduled csection and was born at 2:14am on Friday, May 6th (still via csection). He is AMAZING and perfect and healthy! He weighed 7lbs and 11oz at birth!

I'm doing pretty good and hope you all are too! The first few days after the csection were rough, but it was ok because I was in the hospital for 4 days where people could help me with literally everything. Still stitched and taped up now, but I feel good and can do most of my normal activities. Have to try not to do too much though!

My UC seems to have taken a break...thankfully! I'm still on prednisone and was given very high doses of it in the hospital as a stress dose. I received 3 iv doses of 100mg each. So maybe that helped! I'm still set to start Remicade this coming Friday.

Honestly though, now that I am feeling good, it's tough to want to start Remicade! I know though that steroids are certainly not a long term solution.[img][/img][img]

Thanks for updating. I am so happy he is healthy and that you're getting a break! I wouldn't put off the remicade too long. I guess you can see how you are, maybe things will remain calm, but you do need a plan for maintenance. Congratulations!!!
