Doggiedo,
I have been on salofalk foam enemas for 2 months. I lie down to insert them and stay there for 30 minutes. When I started, being close to the loo was essential, not least for my peace of mind! I have gone from struggling to keep them in for 10 minutes (I think partly that's about practise) to holding them all night most nights now. They have been a godsend! Do not try to move for 30 mins - can be a disaster!
Also, worth sharing that occasionally it's quite painful when it goes in, even now I am down to 1 BM a day and no blood. At the beginning it was excruciating- a burning pain. But only the first four or so times, then it became painless most times. Wish I'd known that at the start!
This is so useful! I have been on them for the past 3 days and my experience has been the same. I had to use all my willpower to hold them in for the first 10-15mins as there was a burning sensation which is getting less each day. Hopefully after a week it becomes much easier.
