Is Increased Mucus a Sign of Bad Things to Come?

Hi guys,

So I started Lialda just over a week ago and have been doing Hydrocort enemas nightly for three weeks (doc thinks I had a reaction to Rowasa enema). My symptoms have been pretty much completely gone for about a month. But since starting Lialda, I've noticed an increase in mucus - no other symptoms, just that.

Is this a sign of flaring for most people? Could it be related to the Lialda? I know bad reactions to mesalamine can mimic UC symptoms. Just wondering if I should be worried.

Mucus is the least concerning symptom we can get. Often IBS patients without inflammation see mucus too. So, it's not necessarily concerning.
